IAEA: Iran exceeded the designated uranium enrichment limit

As the International Atomic Energy Agency confirmed that Iran had exceeded the designated uranium enrichment limit, Reuters reported on a two-day visit to Tehran by the French presidential advisor, with the aim of trying to reduce tensions between Tehran and Washington.
A spokesman for Yukiya Amano, head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, confirmed that Iran has breached the 67.3 percent limit for uranium enrichment, based on analysis of samples taken by the agency's inspectors during their visits.
The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran said on Monday morning, July 8, that the country's uranium enrichment level had reached 4.5 percent, and the IAEA will soon announce the exact level of fuel enrichment.
With this action, Iran wants to pressure its European partners in the nuclear agreement to meet its economic demands and force them to meet the country's demands in the oil and banking sectors.
In another development, Reuters reported, citing a source close to the Elysee Palace, that the French president's top adviser will travel to Tehran on Tuesday, July 9, for a two-day visit. The news agency wrote that Emmanuel Macron's goal in this trip is to try to reduce tensions between Iran and the United States.
Emmanuel Macron had previously reached an agreement in a phone call with Hassan Rouhani to resume talks to preserve the JCPOA and set a deadline of July 14. Iranian Foreign Ministry officials have called the call positive and welcomed the 4+1 meeting.
