On the thirteenth day of their strike, Haft Tappeh sugarcane workers held a protest rally in front of the Shush governor's office, criticizing the performance of Ebrahim Raisi and the Khuzestan governor, and then marched throughout the city. On Saturday, these workers also went to Ahvaz with prior notice and with the aim of meeting with the Khuzestan governor, but according to the workers, the governor refused to meet with them and did not respond to their protest.
