Explosion in an oil and gas pipeline in Susa leaves at least "three dead"

The governor of Shush announced on Tuesday, July 5, that an explosion at an oil and gas pipeline station in the "Fath al-Mubin" section of the city had left three dead and four injured.
Adnan Ghazi told the Islamic Republic News Agency, IRNA, that the explosion was caused by a "gas leak" at an oil and gas pipeline station.
He announced that the location of the explosion was between the villages of Beit Ajam and Mujahideen, and introduced the three people killed as "experts from the Western Oil and Gas Exploitation Company."
The governor of Shush said that four other people were seriously injured in the explosion and were transferred to a hospital in the city.
Iran's oil and gas industry has witnessed explosions and fires many times in recent years. On June 12 of this year, a massive fire broke out at a Tehran refinery, leaving several injured. Fires at petrochemical complexes have also been among the incidents in Iran's oil and gas industry in recent years.
