Iran on the verge of a historic explosion, universities in flames and streets under the shadow of repression

Prince Reza Pahlavi sent a hopeful message to the people of Iran, a country on the verge of a historic explosion, with universities ablaze and streets still breathing under the shadow of repression.
Since January 1404, when a new wave of nationwide protests began with a bloody spark, Iran has entered a new phase of confrontation between society and the government; a phase that has been accompanied by widespread repression, mass arrests, the issuance of heavy sentences, and an increase in executions, and has reached a critical point with the continuation of protests in universities and some cities.
Human rights organizations report that thousands of civilians have been killed, thousands arrested, and a number of protesters have been sentenced to death. The use of terms such as “moharebeh” and “corruption on earth” against those arrested has heightened concerns about fair trials. Over the past two months, many families have been left without information about the condition of their loved ones, and some have only learned of their tragic fate after brief phone calls.
Meanwhile, universities have once again become the focus of protest. With the reopening of higher education centers, students in Tehran, Shiraz, Isfahan, and several other cities have held protest rallies. The slogans have become more explicit than in the past and the symbols have become more visible; from chanting anti-government slogans to holding historical flags. The atmosphere of universities is a reminder of the fact that the protest movement has not died down, despite security pressures.
In such an atmosphere, Reza Pahlavi, in a message addressed to the people, military forces, and especially students, spoke of a "great and historic transformation." The full text of this hopeful message is as follows:
"Dear compatriots,
Iran is on the verge of a great and historic transformation, and the determining factor remains the will and conscious action of the Iranian people. It is we who must play our key role at the right time and not allow scenarios that are contrary to the will of the people to be imposed on the country.
In this path, the role of the military, law enforcement, security forces, and the body of government apparatus is decisive. In the national revolution of the Sun and Moon of Iran, many noble forces stood by the people by defying repressive orders. Reliable reports show that the police and army forces in particular refused to use weapons against the people, and the regime used plainclothes forces, Basij, the IRGC, and non-Iranian mercenaries to carry out the killings.
Revealing documents and images of the massacre and the identities of its perpetrators, handing over the bodies of the dead, assisting the detainees, helping to rescue medical personnel, and forming underground clinics were among the measures taken with the support of the forces deployed within the government institutions. However, it is clear that the number and capabilities of these forces are limited against the regime's repressive apparatus, and international humanitarian intervention is necessary to establish a balance of power.
Now that the possibility of such an intervention is greater than ever, there is a limited opportunity left for military and law enforcement commanders, especially army commanders and other officials whose hands are not stained with the blood of the nation, to separate themselves from the criminal regime. The choice is yours; save your lives and those of your family by joining the people and share in the nation's victory; or tie your fate to the broken ship of the Islamic Republic and sink with Khamenei and his regime.
In the new era of the National Solidarity Campaign, I invite you to scan the campaign QR code during the live broadcast of the newly established Iran National Revolution TV and connect with my special team. The test broadcast of this network has recently begun on the Yahsat satellite.
"The fate of Iran depends on our decisions today. With responsibility and courage, we can create a new history for the Iranian nation."
He also addressed the students who have reignited the protests in recent days, saying: "My students, brave sons and daughters of Iran! You have turned the reopening of universities into a loud cry of the nation and demonstrated the strong bond between the university and the nation. You have shown that Iran is alive and the will of the nation cannot be extinguished."
My father, nearly fifty years ago, predicted how future generations would judge him and his services. Today, you have answered history. His soul is at peace, as he sees the children of Iran awake and standing with courage and awareness to reclaim Iran.
Stay united, stand firm. Do not allow a normal image to be created of our wounded homeland. As long as our people are killed, our sisters and brothers are sentenced to death, and our mothers and fathers, wives and children are grieving; as long as this dark night is not over and Iran is freed from the clutches of this occupying regime, nothing is normal and our struggle will continue.
Know that the future belongs to you; to those of you who did not remain silent, who rose up and stood. Together we will take back Iran and rebuild it.
Enduring Iran!
May the glorious revolution of the Iranian nation be victorious!
Prince Reza Pahlavi's message is being published at a time when Iranian society is living with a mixture of anger, grief, and hope; on the one hand, the shadow of death sentences and widespread arrests, and on the other, the continuation of student protests and scattered union strikes.
What is happening in Iran today is not just a political crisis; it is a struggle over the future of the country. Universities, as the awakened conscience of society, have once again come to the fore and shown that the nation's historical memory will not be extinguished. At the same time, security and judicial pressures have also intensified; it is as if the government is trying to silence any voice of protest before the great and historic transformation reaches a point of no return.
