Three suspects arrested for raping a teenager in Zarrin Dasht
HRANA News Agency – The head of the Zarrin Dasht County Justice Department announced the identification and arrest of three suspects accused of raping a 15-year-old teenager in the county, and said that a case has been filed against the suspects under the headings of “kidnapping, rape, and murder.” Recently, news of the rape of a teenager in Zarrin Dasht County and his suspicious death after this incident was published on social networks. In response to this incident, today, Thursday, September 14, some citizens of Zarrin Dasht held a protest rally in front of the county’s justice building.
According to HRANA News Agency, the news agency of the Human Rights Activists in Iran, the head of the Zarin Dasht County Justice Department announced the identification and arrest of three suspects accused of raping a teenager in the county.
Recently, news about the rape of a teenager in Zarrin Dasht County and his suspicious death after this incident has been published on social networks. The identity of the teenager, “Amir Hossein Khademi, 15 years old and a resident of Zarrin Dasht County,” has been confirmed by HRANA.
It is said that the teenager's lifeless body was found near the city a day later, before he could go to the forensic medicine department, after he shared the incident of sexual abuse with his family and was referred for a forensic examination by the police.
Today, Thursday, September 14, a number of citizens in Zarrin Dasht County held a protest rally in front of the county's courthouse to protest this incident and demand that the defendants in this case be tried.
A video in this regard has been published on social media, in which the Chief Justice of Zarrin Dasht County appears among the protesting crowd and provides some explanations in this regard.
Mohammad Amin Ansari stated that three suspects in this case have been identified and arrested, adding: “After the announcement of the assault of three people on a young man from Zarrin Dashti and his suspicious death, the suspects have been identified and are being detained by order of the judicial authority.”
He also added: "The handling of the aforementioned case is within the jurisdiction of the criminal courts of a province, and judicial measures have been taken to carry out judicial procedures and send the case to the highest judicial authority."
The Chief Justice of Zarrin Dasht County continued: “The statements made by the deceased’s family regarding kidnapping and murder are also on the agenda of the judicial authority with the filing of a legal case.”
