The Largest Statue of Jesus Christ in Armenia

The “Fararu” news agency reported on the construction of the largest statue of Jesus Christ in Armenia.
The construction of a 33-meter statue of Jesus Christ in Armenia has attracted considerable attention. The Christ statue, which according to some sources is the largest and tallest statue among Jesus Christ sculpture projects worldwide, is set to be installed on a 40-meter base.
According to reports, the statue, whose creator began its construction approximately two years ago and has now nearly completed the upper torso, is expected to be installed about 30 kilometers from Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, on Mount Hatis after completion.
Some sources have referred to this statue as the largest and tallest statue of Jesus Christ ever built in the world. It should be noted that in 1926, the statue of Jesus Christ the Redeemer was constructed and installed in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with a height of 39.6 meters at an elevation of 710 meters on Mount Corcovado. This statue depicts Jesus Christ standing with his arms completely open, which according to people, symbolizes the acceptance of all humanity in the embrace of Jesus Christ.
