Ignorance of the status of Kurdish civil activist Khadija Mehdipour after three months of detention

The human rights organization Hengaw says that three months after the arrest of Khadija Mehdipour, a 34-year-old civil activist, by Ilam security forces, there is no news about her fate.
This civil activist was arrested on October 9. He was also arrested last October for his activity on social media and released on bail some time later.
The human rights organization Hengaw reported on Monday, January 4, that no information is available about his whereabouts or fate, and according to an informed source, for the past three months he has been denied the right to visit his family and access to a lawyer, which has led to concern for his family.
The report adds that Ms. Mehdipour was arrested by Ilam security forces without providing any judicial papers, and so far no information is available about the reasons for her arrest or the charges brought against her by the security agencies.
In recent months, a group of civil society activists in western Iran have been arrested by security forces, but no information has been provided about their status, where they are being held, or the charges they face.
