Death sentences of ten political prisoners confirmed

The death sentences of ten political prisoners were confirmed by the Islamic Republic's judiciary.

The human rights organization "HeNgao" had warned on Saturday, May 6, about the death sentence of six prisoners in "Sheiban Prison" in Ahvaz. These political prisoners, named Ali Mojdam, Mohammad Reza Moghadam, Moein Khanfari, Habib Daris, Adnan Ghobishawi, and Salem Mousavi, were transferred to solitary confinement in Sheiban Prison in Ahvaz to carry out their death sentences.

In addition to the six above, the death sentences of Albu Shoka, Majid Kazemi, Saleh Mirhashemi, and Mohammad Qobadlo were also confirmed. It should be noted that Mohammad Qobadlo was charged with "corruption on earth" and "war on terror" in January 1401 and was sentenced to death. In February 2023, corresponding to Bahman 1401, following his lawyer's request for a retrial, a stay of execution was issued.

Now, following popular reports, it appears that Mohammad Ghobadlo's death sentence has been re-enacted and confirmed by the Islamic Republic's judiciary.

According to the people of Iran, no death sentence of any prisoner has ever been overturned by posting a hashtag, and the people must only prevent future executions through their unity and solidarity so that no more political prisoners and other prisoners become victims of the injustice and lies of the Islamic Republic regime.
