At least "three people" die in floods in southern provinces of Iran

A spokesman for Iran's Emergency Organization announced the deaths of three people and the injury of three others due to flooding in the southern provinces of the country.

Mojtaba Khalidi said that a 32-year-old woman and a five-year-old girl in Bandar Abbas and a 58-year-old man in Larestan lost their lives after their car got caught in a flood path.

According to Mr. Khalidi, it is also possible that one person went missing in Kangan Port during the flooding.

In March, some Iranian provinces, including Lorestan, witnessed flooding. In April last year, flooding in a number of Iranian provinces left at least 77 people dead.
