Palestinian supporters attack British-Iranian citizen

The British newspaper "Daily Mail" reported that Palestinian supporters attacked an Iranian-British citizen.

According to the British newspaper "Daily Mail", on Saturday, a group of pro-Palestinian protesters attacked an Iranian-British citizen during a protest rally in London.

Niak Ghorbani, a 37-year-old British-Iranian citizen, appeared at the rally holding a placard that read: “Do you agree that Hamas is a terrorist organization? Yes or yes?” Protesters responded by throwing water bottles, sticks, clods, dirt, and other objects at him.

"The police are putting Britain at serious risk by allowing Hamas supporters to attack law-abiding protesters," Nyak Ghorbani told the Daily Mail. "The reason I object is because the people of Iran have suffered for years from Hamas and other similar terrorist groups. If nothing is done to stop them, the fear of expressing their opinions will take over the future of the British people."

A London police spokesman also stated: "Although the content of Mr. Ghorbani's placard accurately reflects the official position of the British government towards Hamas (under British law, Hamas is a terrorist organization), because the police's priority was to de-escalate tensions and keep everyone safe, after 10 minutes of asking this British-Iranian citizen to leave the demonstration site, we removed him using minimal force."

Opponents of the Islamic Republic have repeatedly participated in protest rallies over the past years, with the slogan "No Gaza, no Lebanon, I will sacrifice my life for Iran," expressing their opposition to the interventionist policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran regime, and have said that the wealth of the Iranian nation should be spent on solving very serious economic and environmental crises, as well as on the development and prosperity of the country, instead of being wasted on dangerous adventures.
