Ruling on traveling with someone who has become a Christian

According to a cleric, if there is any hope of guidance from someone who has not become a Christian, one should cut off contact with them.
Christians, who are recognized as religious minorities in Iran, have been persecuted by the regime for a long time. Many have been arrested, tortured, and some have even been killed by the regime.
Christians, who constitute a large population around the world, are considered by the Islamic Republic to be infidels and impure people, and it is not permissible to interact with them unless they are guided.
In this regard, a video has been published on social media in which a cleric, in response to the question "What is the ruling on communicating with someone who has become a Christian?" says: "If there is hope for his guidance, communication should continue, but if there is no hope for his guidance and it may affect our lives, communication should definitely be stopped. It should not reach the point where lives are intertwined. Because, according to some jurists, people of the Book are completely considered infidels and are impure. One should be cautious or avoid communicating with people of the Book. Staying away from these people will improve people's health."
This way of thinking among jurists not only spreads hatred among the people, but also considers Christians, a large part of whom live in Iran, to be deviant and impure.
