Suicide of two 12-year-old children in Tehran and Yasuj

Two 12-year-old students in Tehran and Yasuj committed suicide due to family problems and being fed up with life.
News published on social media indicates the suicide of two children, a 12-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy, in Tehran and Yasuj. Yesterday, Wednesday, January 10, the father of a 12-year-old student in Tehran called the police and reported the suicide of his 12-year-old son.
Officers from Tehran's Farjam Police Station 136 arrived at the scene immediately after receiving the call. Amir Hossein Alimardan, a special homicide investigator from Branch 10 of the Criminal Affairs Prosecutor's Office, announced after arriving at the scene that the student had hanged himself in his closet due to his parents' divorce and had ended his life.
On the orders of the special homicide investigator, the body of the 12-year-old boy was transferred to the forensic medicine for further investigation. No information about the identity of the student was provided in the published reports.
Also, "Yasna", a 12-year-old from Yasuj and a sixth-grade elementary school student, ended her life. "Fatemeh Sheikhalizadeh", a social journalist, announced the suicide of 12-year-old Yasna by publishing a post on the X network. Yasna ended her life after writing a will addressed to her cousin. Yasna's father suffered a spinal cord injury due to an electric shock and her mother was divorced. Yasna and her younger sister lived with their grandfather.
In the letter, he wrote that he was fed up with life and would miss everyone.

Suicide in Iran has increased, especially in recent months. In the past, suicides occurred in older age groups due to economic or family problems, but now we are witnessing an increase in suicides among children in Iran who are fed up with life and have no motivation to continue.
