Another trial for Sepideh Qolyan; this imprisoned civil activist will be tried on the complaint of an IRIB reporter

While civil activist Sepideh Qolyan is in prison, the court hearing of this imprisoned civil activist, who was sued by a journalist from the Iranian Broadcasting Corporation, is scheduled to be held on December 2nd of this year.
Jamal Heydari Manesh, Ms. Qolyan's lawyer, announced the news on his Instagram story, writing that with the complaint of Ameneh Sadat Zabihpour and the support of the Ministry of Intelligence, the hearing of Sepideh Qolyan's accusation has been scheduled for next week. He also noted: "Ms. Sepideh Qolyan's documented complaint against Ms. Ameneh Sadat Zabihpour regarding the Sokhta design program was rejected with a restraining order, and the objection to this order has not yet been resolved."
Sepideh Gholyan had previously tweeted that Amineh Sadat Zabihpour, a journalist for the Iranian Broadcasting Corporation (IRBC), who was present in the interrogation room during the production of the TV program "Burnt Design," had given Sepideh Gholyan a pre-prepared text to read in front of the camera.
This imprisoned civil activist in Iran said on February 10 that after appearing in the third interrogation branch of Evin Prison, he was accused of "propaganda against the system" for reporting news about Arab prisoners and of "spreading lies" for exposing the role of interrogator-journalist Amine Sadat Zabihpour, and was temporarily released on bail of 180 million.
Sepideh Gholian, who was arrested along with Esmaeil Bakhshi after exposing forced confessions and torture, and was temporarily released on bail of 500 million Tomans along with several labor activists in Iran on November 25, 2019, was re-arrested at her father's house on Saturday night, November 15, 2019, after attending the popular protests in November. She was then temporarily released on December 12, 2019, after posting bail of 200 million Tomans.
This civil activist in Iran was transferred to Evin Prison on July 26 to serve a five-year sentence. Before being transferred to prison, he posted a video on his Twitter page announcing his commitment to report to prison after he applied to the Evin Prison Court to enforce his sentences and opposed the letter of pardon to Khamenei.
The US State Department has repeatedly and on various occasions condemned the violent confrontations and widespread repression of protesters, as well as the repeated and persistent violations of the rights of Iranian citizens by the ruling regime in that country.
