Iranian students returning from Wuhan quarantined; a flight attendant and a taxi driver suspected of having coronavirus in Tehran

After more than a week of warning from the World Health Organization, Iranian students were finally returned to Iran from Wuhan, the epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak in China, on Wednesday, February 6.
Kianoush Jahanpour, head of the Public Relations and Information Center of the Ministry of Health, said: "All students who returned from Wuhan, China on a special flight this morning are in quarantine."
Mohammad Mehdi Goya, head of the Center for Communicable Disease Management at the Ministry of Health, also described the condition of all students as "almost good" and said that one student had "mild symptoms."
The official in charge announced the number of students entering the country as about 50, while it was previously said that 70 Iranian students were in Wuhan.
The head of the Center for Communicable Disease Management of the Ministry of Health also announced the identification of about 9 suspected cases of coronavirus in Iran and emphasized that "fortunately, the test results showed us definitively that they were not infected with the virus."
This comment comes at a time when ISNA News Agency, by publishing a video report from the quarantine site for suspected coronavirus patients in Tehran, has pointed out the presence of two patients suspected of the virus.
According to this report, in the negative pressure respiratory isolation ward of Yaftabad Martyrs' Hospital, which has been converted into a quarantine facility for suspected coronavirus patients, there are only five beds to accommodate patients suspected of this new virus, and so far two suspected coronavirus patients have been hospitalized in this center.
ISNA wrote that one of the suspected cases in this hospital is an internet taxi driver who showed symptoms of the virus due to contact with a Chinese passenger, presented himself to the quarantine center and was monitored, and the next patient under observation is a flight attendant who presented herself to the quarantine center after showing symptoms of the virus.
In recent days, unconfirmed images were published on social media showing the presence of emergency personnel in special clothing accompanying a person.
In recent days, the uncertainty over whether or not Iran's flights to China will be suspended has caused controversy.
Reports indicate that the number of people infected with the coronavirus has reached 24,324, and officials from the Chinese Health Commission have announced that the death toll from the coronavirus outbreak in the country has reached 490.
