DiCaprio finally wins Oscar; 'Spotlight' wins Best Picture

Leonardo DiCaprio finally won an Oscar for his performance in "The Revenant." He had been nominated for an Oscar four times for his acting.
The winners of the 88th Oscars were announced on the morning of Monday, March 1, in Los Angeles, USA.
At the ceremony, the film "Spotlight" won the Oscar for Best Picture. The film, directed by Tom McCarthy, also won the award for Best Screenplay.
The Oscar for Best Director was also awarded to Alejandro González Iñárritu for the film "The Revenant." This year, unlike last year, Mr. Iñárritu failed to win the Oscar for Best Picture.
The Best Cinematography award was also given to the film "The Revenant." This is the third consecutive year that Emmanuel Lubezki has won the Oscar for Best Cinematography, setting a record.
Another award for the film "Back from the Grave" was a spell-breaker for the Oscars ceremony.
Leonardo DiCaprio, who had been nominated for an Oscar for acting four times before this film, was finally able to win the golden statue.
The actor has been nominated for Oscars in previous years for the films "The Wolf of Wall Street," "Blood Diamond," "The Aviator" and "What's Wrong with Gilbert Grape."
Brie Larson, who won the Best Actress award at the Golden Globes, also won an Oscar at the Oscars for her role in the film "Room."

Following the 88th Academy Awards, the award for Best Foreign Language Film was presented to Laszlo Nemes for directing the Hungarian film "Son of Saul."

At this year's ceremony, Ennio Morricone, the greatest composer in the history of cinema, finally won an Oscar for his work on a film score. Sam Smith also won the Oscar for Best Original Song for his song "The Writing's on the Wall," which he sang in the latest James Bond film, "Spectre."
