Reza Pahlavi: "No to the Islamic Republic" is the connecting link for all scattered protesters

Prince Reza Pahlavi announced in a video message on Monday, March 15, that the "No to the Islamic Republic" campaign has emerged from within Iranian society, and that no single movement, party, or group can claim ownership or initiative of it.

Mr. Pahlavi emphasized that "various political forces and groups, by focusing on this national demand, can pave the way to achieving comprehensive convergence and bring different and active groups closer together."

Referring to the problems in Iran, he added: "Today, from the kolbars of Kurdistan to the fuel workers of Sistan and Baluchestan, from youth and students to factory workers and retirees, from the families of the demonstrators to the protesters imprisoned in January 2017 and November 2019, they all see the root of their problems in one place: the incompetent and ineffective government of the Islamic Republic. No to the Islamic Republic, the connecting link is all the scattered protesters who know that their problems can only be solved with the departure of this government."

In this message, Reza Pahlavi called for the message of the "No to the Islamic Republic" campaign to be disseminated, saying: "Each of you today can disseminate the message of this campaign by using new and innovative methods in cyberspace and real-life."

This campaign was published on social media last week with the signatures of more than 600 civil activists and cultural figures.

They have written to the people, "Let's make the demand for "No to the Islamic Republic" the axis of national solidarity, so that by establishing a large and comprehensive movement, we can cleanse the soil of Iran forever from the poverty and misery of this black and corrupt regime."
