Flood victims in Jask "cannot sleep" due to cold

Tasnim News Agency reported that the situation of flood victims in Jask city, who are living in temporary accommodation camps set up by the Red Crescent, has become "extremely difficult."

According to this report, the Red Crescent Society has set up six temporary accommodation camps, but the residents of these camps do not have enough heating equipment and warm clothing, and are unable to sleep at night due to the extreme cold.

Meanwhile, Iran's Minister of Roads and Urban Development, Mohammad Eslami, visited the flood-affected areas on Sunday, January 19, and emphasized the need for rapid compensation for flood damages.

Local officials in Hormozgan province have said that the flood caused 1.23 trillion tomans in damage in the cities of Jask and Bashagerd.

Numerous images and videos have been published on social media showing the dire situation of flood-affected villagers in this city.

Hajiabad, Upper Kroch, Lower Kroch, Liraei, Sedij, and Grendo are among the flood-affected villages in critical condition.
