Prince Reza Pahlavi: Today's Iran is a country in crisis and the regime has become weak

In an interview, Prince Reza Pahlavi spoke about the crisis in Iran and the regime's inability these days.

In an interview with the Italian newspaper Il Giornale on Monday, April 28, Prince Reza Pahlavi referred to the Bandar Abbas disaster and said: "Corruption, repression, and ideological extremism have isolated the country and trapped the people in poverty and hardship. However, in the heart of this dark situation, there is hope. A resilient people who demand freedom, prosperity, and a bright future, while the regime is at its weakest, most vulnerable, and most unstable."

He also added about the chaotic economic situation: "Today's Iran is a country in crisis, whether economically, politically, or socially. The regime is powerless and internally divided."

Yesterday, in response to the Bandar Abbas explosion that killed many citizens, Prince Pahlavi issued a message: "The criminal and incompetent regime caused another disaster, this time in Bandar Abbas. Innocent people have once again become victims of the Islamic Republic's irresponsibility. This regime has neither the ability to build nor the ability to protect the people. People who have witnessed the downing of the Ukrainian plane, the Plasco, Metropol, and Sanchi disasters in just the past few years, and are still grieving the loss of their loved ones, have no trust in this regime and its lies. Khamenei's hands are stained with the blood of the Iranian nation. The hypocritical smiles of his agents in Muscat and Rome will not heal the wounds of this nation. While expressing deep sympathy for the families of the victims of the Bandar Abbas explosion, I call on all compatriots to help those affected by this disaster."
