Prince Reza Pahlavi: Iran, with hundreds of underground churches, probably has the fastest growing rate of conversion to Christianity

Regarding the situation of Christians, Prince Reza Pahlavi said: "Iran, with hundreds of underground churches, probably has the fastest growth in conversion to Christianity."

In an interview with the Christian network CBN NEWS, Prince Reza Pahlavi referred to the situation of Christians in Iran and said: “The Islamic Republic imprisons, tortures, and even kills Iranian Christians because of their faith. Despite this, Iran, with hundreds of underground churches, probably has the fastest growing rate of conversion to Christianity.” He also added: “The end of the regime will be the end of the persecution of Christians.”

Some users on social media supported the Pahlavi prince's words, referring to a verse in the Bible: "God says I will set my throne in Elam and destroy the king and the princes from there. But God says in the last days, I will bring back the captives of Elam." Many other users also wrote that we will see the day when every knee will bow before the Lord Jesus Christ, and that day will not be late in Iran because light has always triumphed over darkness.

The persecution of Christians in Iran began after the victory of the Islamic Revolution and has continued to this day. Just a few days after the revolution, a number of leaders and believers in Christ were horribly killed by the regime, and since then, Christians have continued to be oppressed by the regime, with arrests, torture, threats, denial of many civil rights, and executions, as well as their property being seized and confiscated.
