Identification of 300 child laborers and arrest of perpetrators of child abuse in Alborz Province

The Chief Justice of Alborz Province announced the identification of more than 300 child laborers and the arrest of several perpetrators of employing and abusing these children in the province.

According to HRANA news agency, quoting Rokna, the Chief Justice of Alborz Province announced the identification of more than 300 child laborers in the province.

The Chief Justice of Alborz Province said: "Also, several people who were abusing child laborers were arrested."

Hossein Fazeli Harikandi further stated: "As part of preventive measures, several child labor centers were also sealed."

Earlier, Zoha Amiri, head of the legal committee of the Association for the Protection of Children's Rights, said regarding the identification of child laborers: "The plan to organize child laborers at various levels violates the human dignity of children and ignores their rights. According to the testimony of children present in the organizing centers, they were either forced to board the car by force or by promising a warm meal and clothes."
