In the last two weeks, 11 Christian families were summoned to the Intelligence Department in Alborz Province.

Over the past two weeks, 11 Christian families in Alborz province have been summoned to the intelligence agency. Following the summons, the converts have been asked to sign a pledge to refrain from communicating with other Christians. Security agents have reportedly threatened to imprison the Christians and leave the country if they refuse to sign the pledge.

According to HRANA news agency, citing Article 18, over the past two weeks, 11 Christian families in Alborz province were summoned to the Intelligence Department.

According to the report, the Ministry of Intelligence has pressured the summoned Christians to sign a commitment to refrain from communicating and traveling with other Christians.

Intelligence officers have threatened Christians with long prison sentences and leaving the country if they refuse to sign the aforementioned pledge.

Security officials have said in this regard: "Even contacting Christians in cyberspace and online is prohibited."

A number of Christians summoned to the Ministry of Intelligence are among those whose homes were searched by security agents in Fardis on November 11.

The report does not mention the identities or number of people summoned.
