Lack of medical attention for Arash Johari's condition in Evin Prison

Arash Johari, a prisoner held in Evin Prison, has been denied medical attention.
Labor activist Arash Johari was arrested in October 2010 by IRGC intelligence agents at his home in Tehran and transferred to Ward 2A of Evin Prison.
He was sentenced by Branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court, presided over by Judge Afshari, to ten years in prison on the charge of "managing illegal groups with the aim of disrupting the country's security," five years in prison on the charge of "gathering and colluding," and one year in prison on the charge of "propaganda against the system." This sentence was later reduced to seven years and six months in prison.
On October 21, 1401, after the atmosphere in Evin Prison became tense due to a fire, he was transferred to Rajai Shahr Prison in Karaj along with a number of prisoners, and in May of this year (1402), he was returned to Ward 4 of Evin Prison.
According to a relative of Arash Johari, he has been experiencing frequent headaches, nausea, sweating, and heart palpitations and needs medical attention, but so far, prison officials have not taken any action regarding his physical condition.
Many prisoners in prisons, especially political and conscientious prisoners, are deprived of medical care and their lives are at risk.
