Political activist Alireza Beheshti-Shirazi arrested

Seyyed Alireza Beheshti-Shirazi, a cultural and political activist, was arrested last night (Tuesday), May 25, at his home.
Alireza Beheshti, an Iranian political activist and journalist, and the editor of the newspaper "Green Word," was one of the closest advisors to "Mir Hossein Mousavi," who was arrested after the 2009 presidential election and spent a long period in prison. In recent years, he has been busy translating and publishing important political and economic works and has not been openly active in politics.
Alireza Beheshti was among the speakers at the "Dialogue Conference to Save Iran" on the evening of Saturday, May 2nd, at the Club House. In his speech, he said: "After the events of last year, the window for reforms has completely closed, and despite the current seemingly calm situation, change is a certainty and we must prepare ourselves for it."
Three days after his speech (Tuesday evening), security agents went to his home and arrested him. It should be noted that information on the reason for his arrest, the charges against him, and his whereabouts is still not available.
