Amnesty International's Call: Help document cases of repression of protesters by providing information and documents

Amnesty International called on people and protesters to report human rights violations to the organization.

The organization's Telegram statement in Persian reads: "Many protesters have been injured by metal or plastic pellets during the past days and the November protests. Amnesty International invites everyone to contact this organization if they have information in this regard and to send their photos and videos of the bullets and the injuries they caused."

This organization has announced two phone numbers on WhatsApp and Telegram for information:
0044-796-142-15-65
0044-796-142-15-78

Last month, Amnesty International was also able to provide initial statistics on the killing of protesters after receiving reports.

Some reports from the protests in Iran on Sunday, January 12, indicate that protesters were shot at and a group of them were arrested.

President Trump has warned the Iranian regime against violence against its people in several tweets. In one of his tweets, President Trump wrote: “The Iranian government must allow human rights groups to monitor and report on the current reality of the ongoing protests in Iran. We must not see peaceful protesters being killed again or the internet shut down. The world is watching.”
