German Tourist Killed by Iranian-Born Islamist

An Iranian-born Islamist killed a German tourist while shouting “Allahu Akbar.”
According to the news network “Balaatarin,” “Arman Rajabpour Miandoab,” born in 1997, is an Islamist who attacked passersby with a knife and hammer in one of the tourist neighborhoods of Paris near the Eiffel Tower. In this attack, a German tourist was killed by knife wounds inflicted by the aforementioned person in front of his wife’s eyes. He also wounded two others in the 16th district of Paris.
Arman Rajabpour is a resident of the “Essonne” area on the outskirts of Paris where he lives with his parents. He had previously been imprisoned for four years on charges of planning a violent attack. After his arrest, he expressed sorrow over the deaths of Muslims in Afghanistan and Palestine, claiming he cannot tolerate the killing of Muslims and believes France has a hand in the matter.
According to French Interior Minister “Gérald Darmanin,” the intervention of a taxi driver ended the first phase of the attacks, and police pursued Arman to the 16th district. During this period, Arman Rajabpour attacked two other pedestrians with a hammer, one of whom was a foreign national and the other a 60-year-old French citizen. The Interior Minister announced that the attacker was released from prison in 2020 and was under treatment due to mental and psychological issues.
French Prime Minister “Élisabeth Borne” also reacted to Arman Rajabpour’s attacks, saying: “This country will never surrender to terrorism.”
French President “Emmanuel Macron” also expressed condolences to the family of the German citizen by posting on the social network “X,” stating: “This incident is a terrorist attack and the counter-terrorism prosecutor’s office will investigate this matter.”
According to experts, the root of most of these acts of violence lies in Middle Eastern crises and extremist Islamists.
