Liz Truss: Iran nuclear talks are approaching a dangerous impasse

British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss says talks to revive the 2015 nuclear deal between Western powers and Iran are approaching a dangerous impasse.
"This is an urgent negotiation and progress has not been fast enough," Ms. Truss told her country's parliament on Tuesday, February 25.
He added that "we continue to work closely with our allies, but the negotiations are reaching a dangerous impasse."
He warned: "Iran must now choose whether it wants to make a deal or be responsible for the collapse of the JCPOA; and if the JCPOA collapses, all options are on the table."
Liz Truss' warning to Iran comes after reports in recent days from Vienna indicated progress in the negotiations, although the West, and especially the United States, have expressed dissatisfaction with the slow pace of the negotiations and emphasized that there is not much time left to revive the JCPOA.
In addition, the release of four American citizens imprisoned in Iran has also been in the news.
The United States and Iran have both spoken of the possibility of direct dialogue during the Vienna talks.
