Mohammad Khoshbian, former seminary professor, removes turban

Mohammad Khoshbayan, one of the prominent seminary professors, paid tribute to the Iranian people and the martyrs, expressed his disgust and disavowal of Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and criticized other followers of his teachings, removing his turban.

Mohammad Khoshbian published a video on social media, expressing his opposition to the Islamic Republic government's actions regarding the suppression and killing of the Iranian people.

In this video, he announced: "At the beginning of my petitions, I bow my head in respect to the blood unjustly shed in the cause of freedom. In respect of the blood of martyr Sattar Beheshti, martyr Ruhollah Zam, martyr Kian Pirfalak, and... that was shed by the infamous, brutal, and bloody regime of the Islamic Republic. My dears, I declare my disgust and acquittal of the leader of the murderers, Ali Khamenei, and my speech is directed at the clerics, especially the clerics who support the government. If you are a follower of Sayyid Ali Khamenei, according to the verse of the Quran, you are also an apostate. References! Shiite blood is being shed, where are you going? Is it a joke to hang a young man in his twenties in 23 days for the crime of war? I have been preaching for 18 years and wearing the robes of a cleric. Today I say firmly and clearly that the religion that Ruhollah Khomeini created in the name of the absolute guardianship of the jurist, which if anyone does not accept the absolute guardianship is considered an apostate, I disbelieve in this religion and you know that I consider this religion to be more evil than any other religion. Today I take off the robe of the clergy, a robe that for some has become a symbol of lying, embezzlement, murder, etc., and I shield my chest for my people, because my blood is no more colorful than the blood of the martyrs that is being shed now. This will definitely have consequences for me, but I shield my chest and present my turban to my people.” Mohammad Khoshbayan took off his turban at the end of his prayers.
