US allows three civilian nuclear projects in Iran to continue

The United States allows three nuclear projects to continue in Bushehr, Arak, and Fordow.
According to Reuters, the US State Department announced the return of severe economic sanctions against Iran on Monday, saying that under strict supervision, the US will allow these civilian nuclear projects to continue.
The United States reimposed sanctions on Iran's oil, banking, and transportation sectors to end Iran's nuclear and missile programs and reduce Iran's influence in the Middle East.
The US State Department has said it will not issue any further waivers for new civilian nuclear projects in Iran.
The US State Department said in its statement that the authorization it granted for limited nuclear projects is for a temporary period and relates to projects currently underway that hinder Iran's ability to rebuild its nuclear weapons program and locks in the current nuclear status quo until a stronger agreement is reached that addresses all of our concerns.
