Trump's blocking of Israel's attack on Iran during negotiations

Donald Trump prevented Israel from attacking Iran during negotiations.

US President Donald Trump prevented an Israeli attack on Iran's nuclear facilities, which was scheduled to begin in early May, due to ongoing negotiations with Tehran.

The first round of talks, held last Saturday, included decisions that if Iran does not reach a nuclear deal with the United States, Israel will attack Iran, targeting its nuclear facilities and pushing back its nuclear activities. However, reports published today indicate that the attack has been put on hold for the time being due to negotiations between Trump and Netanyahu.

During Benjamin Netanyahu's recent visit to the United States, Donald Trump told him that he would not support an Israeli attack on Iran as long as negotiations were ongoing. The Israeli Prime Minister's visit to the United States came after Trump administration officials suddenly informed Netanyahu that they were asking him to travel to Washington immediately.

Despite disagreements within his administration over how to deal with the Islamic Republic, Donald Trump has decided not to support an Israeli attack on Iran for now, but he has clearly emphasized that bombing will follow if negotiations with Tehran fail. This decision comes despite the fact that the White House and the Israeli Prime Minister's Office have yet to comment on the report.

The bombing campaign planned by Netanyahu and the Trump administration was to begin in early May and last for over a week. It was to begin by attacking the air defense system left over from Israel’s previous attack on Iran, paving the way for Israeli fighter jets to target nuclear sites.

According to experts, the success of Israel's attack on Iran's nuclear facilities will definitely depend on US military support. The United States has already provided Israel with air defense systems, including six B2 stealth bombers that have been deployed close to Iran, and US ships have also been dispatched to the region. All of this indicates America's readiness to support a possible Israeli attack on the Islamic Republic. Donald Trump has emphasized that if negotiations fail, the bombing of nuclear facilities and other sites where atomic bombs are being made will be inevitable.
