Vahab Alizadeh released from Naqadeh prison

Seyyed Vahab Alizadeh, a political prisoner, was released from Naqadeh Prison on parole in recent days. Mr. Alizadeh was previously sentenced to three years in prison by the Urmia Revolutionary Court and was arrested in late February 2019 to serve the sentence.
According to HRANA News Agency, citing the Kurdistan Center for Democracy and Human Rights, in recent days, Seyyed Vahab Alizadeh, a political prisoner from Oshnavieh County, was conditionally released from Naqadeh Prison.
Mr. Alizadeh was arrested by the Ministry of Intelligence forces in Oshnavieh city on July 29, 2019, and was temporarily released on bail after completing the interrogation process.
Ultimately, this citizen was tried in the Urmia Revolutionary Court on charges of collaborating with one of the opposition groups and sentenced to three years in prison. On February 17, 2019, he was arrested and transferred to Oshnavieh Prison to carry out the sentence.
He was transferred to Naqadeh Prison without prior notice in late October 2010.
