Sealing of the "Saltwater" building in Isfahan and a cafe-restaurant in Kerman

The "Namakdan" building in Isfahan and a cafe-restaurant in Kerman were sealed off due to non-compliance with the mandatory hijab.

The sealing of entertainment centers, restaurants, cafes, shops, etc. began months ago for various reasons, including non-compliance with the mandatory hijab, and with the beginning of Ramadan, the sealing of these centers became more intense.

According to published reports, last Sunday, April 5, 1403, the Salt Pan Mansion in Isfahan, a relic of the Qajar era, was sealed by the Public Places Supervision Department due to non-compliance with the mandatory hijab.

The Kerman Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor also announced the sealing of a cafe-restaurant in the city. According to Mehdi Bakhshi, this cafe-restaurant, located on the "Haft Bagh Alavi" tourist route in Kerman, was sealed for not observing the hijab and Islamic etiquette, and several citizens, including the manager of this union unit, were also arrested.

He claimed that the operators of this cafe-restaurant, in addition to not observing the hijab and Islamic etiquette, had caused public dissatisfaction by violating norms and hurting public modesty in cyberspace. This unit was sealed by order of the Public Prosecutor and Revolutionary Prosecutor of the capital of Kerman Province and the follow-up of the Deputy Public Rights Prosecutor.

Many business places and tourist accommodations are sealed by the relevant authorities for various reasons, including non-compliance with the mandatory hijab, live music performances, dancing, and foot-tapping. With the beginning of the month of Ramadan in the new year, the sealing of these places has also been added for serving food.
