Several protesters arrested in connection with the 1404 protests

HRANA News Agency – Official media reported the arrest of a citizen in Robat Karim and several protesters in Dehdasht in connection with the January protests. At the same time, a video of the forced confessions of five people was released, under which it is unclear under what circumstances it was recorded.

According to the HRANA news agency, citing Fars, several protesters were arrested in connection with the January protests in Dehdasht.

Regarding the arrest of these citizens, the IRGC's Kohgiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad Intelligence Organization claimed that these individuals were members of an armed team. At the same time, a video of the forced confessions of five individuals was released, under which it is not clear under what circumstances it was recorded.

On the other hand, the Iranian Broadcasting Corporation (IBC) reported the arrest of a protester by police officers in the city of Robat Karim. The police commander of Robat Karim claimed that this citizen was one of the main leaders of the protests in the city.

According to Timur Kalantari, the accused has been introduced to the judicial authority for legal proceedings by filing a case.

These reports do not mention the identities or whereabouts of the detained citizens.

It should be noted that the gatherings and strikes of merchants and marketers began in Tehran on Sunday, January 27, and after two days, their scope went beyond the markets and commercial centers. With the joining of students, citizens, and various social strata, these protests became one of the most widespread protests in recent years.
