Kazem Seddiqi: Participate in the elections for gratitude

Addressing the issue of elections, Kazem Seddiqi announced to the people that they should participate in the elections as a sign of gratitude.

In his sermon after Friday prayers today, January 1, 1402, Kazemi Seddiqi, the Friday Imam of Tehran, while referring to the issue of elections, said: "Today we have a government that loves service, not power. We must participate in the elections to express gratitude for this blessing. A passionate presence at the ballot box will disappoint the child killers of the world, and a weak presence in the elections will make them more determined in pursuing their sinister goals."

He also referred to the war in Gaza and stated that the issue of Islam today is the issue of Palestine, adding: "The Islamic nation must always be able to save Palestine from the hands of the usurpers by relying on the rope of Allah. The late Imam had stated this issue since the beginning of the revolution. The main perpetrators of these crimes in occupied Palestine are the United States and other Western countries, including England and France. The Western trend, whose only work for 200 years has been killing, coups, and inciting wars, has caused casualties among the people.

"Today, the Western movement, especially the Zionists, is focused on continuing the occupation, but the Zionists are powerless against the military and militant epic of a group. What is happening in Palestine is not just a land purchase by a group, but a movement. Those who dropped atomic bombs on the people of Hiroshima and Nagasaki or massacred the natives of their land, today are providing widespread support for the usurpation of the Palestinian land."

Hojjatoleslam Seddiqi added that the presence of England, France and America is in the context of these crimes, and at the top of them are the rulers of Western countries who have considered Palestine an opportunity for themselves. During these three months of war, the usurping occupiers have never been so trapped against a small group that they are fighting against.

The Friday prayer leader of Tehran also referred to the recent act in which several security forces were killed and said: "The brutal act of terrorists and Takfiris was a bitter incident, and I offer my condolences to the Imam of the Time and his deputy, the people, Faraj, and the families of these martyrs. The authorities are expected to provide Faraj with the necessary support in terms of weapons and law. After 44 years since the Islamic Revolution, no one should dare to look down on a left-wing law enforcement officer, let alone assassinate them inside the country."

In his final remarks, as the elections approached, he spoke of a government that loves to serve the people and is not power-hungry, and invited people to go to the polls.

Calling people to the elections is also to thank the government that serves the people, while the Islamic Republic regime has committed many crimes against the Iranian people in the past year to remain in power. Also, the recent death sentences issued to about two thousand people in the city of Delfan, Lorestan province, was very shocking news that attracted widespread reactions inside and outside the country. The publication of the Friday prayer sermon on social media and the news of the recent executions prompted people to declare that they will not support a government that is killing children, adolescents, young people, and the innocent people of Iran every day.
