Two 16-year-old teenagers killed in Kamyaran and Shiraz

Reza Kazemi and Mahek Hashemi are two 16-year-old youths who lost their lives in Kamyaran and Shiraz after being hit by a live bullet and being hit in the head with a baton.
Following the recent nationwide protests in Iran, security forces in the Islamic Republic have killed two more teenagers. Reza Kazemi, 16, was shot in the Muchesh area of Kamyaran province during protests last week and was left lying on the street covered in blood after being shot. According to human rights sources, Reza Kazemi died yesterday (Sunday, December 26) after six days in hospital.
Also, Mahek Hashemi was attacked by security forces on Thursday (December 25) and died as a result of baton blows. Her lifeless body was handed over to her family after a large sum of money was taken. Mahek's family was pressured by government forces not to disclose the news of her death.
According to an eyewitness report, Mahek was severely beaten on one side of the head, to the point that half of her face was completely bruised.
Mahek Hashemi's body was buried on Saturday, December 25, in Kangan Port, Bushehr, and her third and seventh ceremonies were held simultaneously yesterday (Sunday, December 26).
The deaths of the two 16-year-olds were confirmed at a time when more than 60 children have been killed in Iranian protests, while UNESCO has condemned the killing of people under the age of 18 in Iran.
