According to HRANA news agency, citing Tabnak, today, Monday, August 14, 2022, a driver lost his life due to a landslide in a chromite mine.

According to the report, the head of the Red Crescent Society of Chaghatai County said: "Upon receiving a report of a landslide in the chrome mine in the village of "Gaft" and one person being trapped under the rubble, an operational team was immediately dispatched to the scene of the incident. After a field visit, it was determined that a bulldozer was buried by the landslide while working in the mine, and its driver died from the severity of his injuries."

Abolfazl Rafiei continued: "The necessary measures to free him were taken with the efforts of rescuers and workers present at the scene, and his body was pulled out from under the rubble."
