Additional report on the murder of Ariana Lashkari by her father in Noorabad Mamasani

HRANA News Agency – Yesterday, HRANA published a report on the murder of Ariana Lashkari by her father in the city of Noorabad, Momsani. According to new information, the teenage girl went to her grandmother’s house due to family disputes, where her father went there with a hunting rifle and shot her in the chest, killing his daughter.

According to HRANA news agency, citing Rokna, on Monday night, July 26, 1401, a teenage girl was murdered by her father.

The identity of this teenager, “Ariana Lashkari, 16 years old, daughter of Mohammad Kazem and resident of Noorabad city, Mamasani county, Fars province,” was confirmed by HRANA.

According to the report, Ariana went to her grandmother's house over what was described as a family dispute with her father. Her father then went to her mother's house with a shotgun and, after a fight with his daughter, shot her in the chest, killing her.

Mohammad Kazem Lashkari confessed to his crime and said: “I did not intend to kill my daughter; Ariana was my eldest child and we also have another 12-year-old daughter, but for some time we had been arguing with my eldest daughter over an issue. That day, Ariana went to my mother’s house over these arguments, and I suddenly could not control my anger and went there with my hunting rifle to scare her. I really did not intend to kill my daughter, but I shot without control and committed the murder of my daughter.”

Further details of the incident, including the motive for the teenager's murder, are under investigation.

It should be noted that under the Islamic Penal Code, a father who kills his child is sentenced to pay blood money and imprisonment if convicted in court. In some cases, fathers have committed murder after considering that a father cannot be executed for killing his child.
