"18 days of ignorance" about the status of a detained civil activist in Kurdistan Province

Civil activists in Kurdistan Province have reported that there has been no news for 18 days about the fate of Kajal Nasri, a civil activist who was arrested by security forces in the village of Tangsir in Sanandaj County.
The human rights website "Hengaw" wrote in this regard that the Sanandaj Intelligence Department arrested 26-year-old Ms. Nasri on December 11 without providing any judicial papers, and despite her father's several visits to the Intelligence Department, he has not been able to meet or call his daughter.
No information has yet been released about the reasons for the arrest or the charges against this civil activist, but according to the Hengaw website, Ms. Nasri was summoned by the Intelligence Department this spring and interrogated for several hours.
