Reza Pahlavi's message on International Workers' Day and his emphasis on the role of workers in Iran's future

Reza Pahlavi said in his Labor Day message: "During my father's time, with the White Revolution of the Shah and the nation, the welfare and livelihood of workers became the focus of attention, from sharing workers' profits in factories, to facilitating the purchase of housing and creating educational, welfare, and sports facilities for workers and their families."
On the eve of International Workers' Day, Reza Pahlavi has issued a message on the occasion, addressing the difficult situation of workers in Iran and speaking about their role in the country's future developments. This message is being issued at a time when many workers and different segments of society are facing economic problems, reduced purchasing power, and job insecurity.
In his message on this occasion, Prince Reza Pahlavi wrote: "On International Labor Day, I send greetings to all of you hardworking and brave workers of Iran.
In these difficult and exhausting days - the result of the Islamic Republic's forty-seven years of destructive performance - I stand with you. I know that you, the workers and toilers, like most of your compatriots, are under heavy economic pressure and livelihood difficulties; your tables are getting smaller and emptier every day, while the Islamic Republic spends our national wealth on waging war and supporting terrorist groups.
This situation is not worthy of Iranian workers and citizens, and it will end with the overthrow of this regime and the fruits of the sacrifices and innocent blood of tens of thousands of lives sacrificed for the freedom of Iran.
Achieving this goal requires the participation of each and every one of us. At every moment and every step, let us ask ourselves: Will this action prolong the life of the regime or will it contribute to the victory of the Revolution of the Sun and Moon? Every action, however small, is effective in disabling the regime's apparatus of repression and in determining the fate of a great and historic nation.
From the teachings of Zoroaster to the glorious era of the Achaemenids, the position of work and labor, as one of the main arms of development, prosperity, and welfare, has always been cherished and respected in Iranian history and culture. More than 2,500 years ago, Darius the Great personally looked after the affairs of the male and female workers and employees working in Persepolis and ordered their direct payment. In modern times, we have also witnessed the recovery of this ancient culture. My grandfather and father always paid special attention to work and workers.
During my father's time, with the White Revolution of the Shah and the Nation, the welfare and livelihood of workers came into focus: from sharing workers' profits in factories, to facilitating the purchase of housing and creating educational, welfare, and sports facilities for workers and their families.
The issue of economic and industrial development, work and entrepreneurship, centered on the welfare, comfort and dignified life of workers, is of special and fundamental importance to me. Therefore, my team in the Iran Prosperity Project has focused completely and purposefully on this issue and has carefully studied, examined and presented ideas and solutions appropriate to Iran's conditions.
I believe that with Iran once again on the path of progress and development and the return of prosperity and prosperity, the country's workers and their noble families will once again enjoy the respect, prosperity, and dignity that all Iranians deserve.
"Perseverant Iran,"
This message was released as, on Labor Day, many analysts and observers point to the economic situation in Iran and the challenges facing workers, including rising living costs, declining purchasing power, and labor market restrictions. In such an environment, offering views and suggestions about the economic future and the status of workers has received more attention than ever before.
