Two Citizens Killed and Wounded in Police Station Shooting in Iranshahr

Hrana News Agency – On Sunday, December 12th, following gunfire by officers at Police Station 13 in Iranshahr, one citizen was wounded and another lost his life.
According to Hrana News Agency, citing Halash, on Sunday, December 12th, 1400, following gunfire by officers at Police Station 13 in Iranshahr, one citizen was wounded and another lost his life.
The identities of these citizens, who are brothers, have been identified as Saeed and Omid Bamri.
As of the time of compiling this report, the reason for the police station officers’ gunfire at these citizens remained unclear.
In a section of the annual human rights report on Iran for 2021, attention was given to citizens who were killed or wounded by military forces.
In 2021, a total of 242 citizens were targeted by military forces, of whom 94 citizens lost their lives, a figure that includes the deaths of 23 porters, 31 fuel smugglers and 40 ordinary citizens. 148 citizens were also injured by indiscriminate gunfire from military organizations, of which 81 are porters, 51 are ordinary citizens and 16 are fuel smugglers.
