Air pollution sent more than 7,000 people to emergency rooms

A spokesperson for the country's emergency organization said: "In general, from December 13 to 15, 7,916 people have visited emergency centers due to respiratory and heart problems due to increased air pollution."

He said: "In the provinces of Isfahan, Alborz, Tehran, and Markazi, we have witnessed the highest number of people visiting emergency centers, with Tehran province at the top of the list with 6034 visits, and Isfahan province in the next rank with 1,000 visits."
