Official coronavirus statistics in Iran: The number of victims has reached three digits again

The Iranian Ministry of Health announced that after six days, the number of coronavirus victims in Iran has once again reached three digits, and 119 patients infected with Covid-19 have died in the country in the past 24 hours.

The number of daily victims of Corona reached double digits on December 1, after 234 days, reaching 97 people. Although on December 2, it returned to the three-digit figure of 132, until Tuesday, December 9, the number of daily victims was still recorded at less than 100.

According to the Ministry of Health, as of Tuesday afternoon, 4,253 new patients with coronavirus were identified in Iran, 801 of whom were hospitalized.

Including the new official statistics, the total number of coronavirus patients in Iran has reached 6,117,445, and the official number of victims of the disease has reached 129,830.

Currently, 3,334 patients with COVID-19 in Iran are in severe condition in intensive care units of hospitals and are under observation.

The official daily coronavirus statistics in Iran are being made available to the media while there are serious doubts about their accuracy, and the number of victims is estimated to be at least two to three times the official figures.

According to official reports, so far 57 million 679 thousand 61 people have received the first dose, 47 million 147 thousand 333 people have received the second dose, and 1 million 66 thousand 269 people have received the third dose of the coronavirus vaccine, bringing the total number of vaccines administered in Iran to 105 million 892 thousand 663 doses.

As announced by the Ministry of Health, 22 cities are currently in orange status, 207 cities in yellow status, and 219 cities in blue status, and no cities are in red status for coronavirus.
