Official coronavirus statistics in Iran: 123 deaths and 7,500 infections in one day

Iran's Ministry of Health reported on Thursday, November 10, that 123 more people have died from the coronavirus in the past 24 hours.

According to the same statistics, during the same period, more than 7,500 new patients with Covid-19 have been identified in the country.

According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of deaths from coronavirus in Iran has reached 127,809, and the total number of patients infected with the virus has reached 6,19,947.

The official coronavirus statistics are announced daily by the Iranian Ministry of Health, while officials from the Medical System Organization had previously announced the actual number to be three to four times this figure.

Meanwhile, the Iranian Students' Opinion Polling Center (ISPA) announced on Thursday that 83.3 percent of citizens participating in the center's recent survey said they had received at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccine, and among those who have not yet been vaccinated, 34.4 percent said they will not be vaccinated in the future.

According to the Ministry of Health's public relations statement on Thursday, so far 55 million 500 thousand 300 people in Iran have received the first dose, 41 million 506 thousand 171 people have received the second dose, and 393 thousand 865 people have received the third dose of the coronavirus vaccine.

According to the same announcement, the total number of vaccines administered in the country has reached 97,400,336 doses.
