Israel and the United States declare readiness to confront threats from the Islamic Republic

The Israeli and American governments have announced their readiness to counter threats from the Islamic Republic and a possible Iranian attack.

US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant learned during a phone call on the morning of November 1 that Tehran would launch another attack on Israel in the coming days in response to Israel's military attack on Iran on November 25.

To this end, the United States and Israel have declared readiness to defend their forces and their allies across the Middle East against threats from the Islamic Republic and a possible Iranian attack on Israel. An Israeli official also announced that they are at the highest level of readiness for a possible new Iranian attack.

While some sources in Iran had announced that Iran would attack Israel after the US elections, some reputable US media outlets reported Iran's attack on Israel before the US elections on November 5.

According to reports published by the Pentagon, the US and Israeli defense secretaries discussed opportunities to defuse the regional crisis. Also, according to reports published yesterday, Iran may use its proxy forces in Iraq to attack Israel to prevent another Israeli attack on Iran, which may also involve the Iraqi government and army, which cooperate with the US.

An Israeli military source said in this regard: "Iranian authorities are still deciding on the timing of the retaliatory attack, because the Israeli attack on Iranian missile production facilities and air defense sites has created a dilemma for Tehran that has reduced their ability to attack Israel again and defend themselves against possible future Israeli operations."

Benjamin Netanyahu, while noting that he could not state his plans to achieve the nuclear goal in Iran, emphasized: "Iran will not have nuclear weapons. The nuclear issue is at the forefront of our affairs, we will not take our eyes off the lofty goal in this regard."

He also said at the ceremony of conferring the crown on new army officers yesterday: "Two days after Hamas' extremist attack on Israeli soil last year, we had emphasized that dealing with the arms of Iran's octopus, and at the top of it, the octopus' head, is on Israel's agenda to change the face of the Middle East."

Tehran's proxy forces in Iraq also reported four drone attacks against Israel this morning (Friday, November 1), with three drones sent from Iraq to southern Israel and a fourth attack drone sent to the Golan Heights in northern Israel.

Israeli media also reported that Israeli fighter jets intercepted two drones sent from Iraq over the eastern part of the Red Sea. An Israeli army spokesman confirmed that the two drones were aimed at the southern port of Eilat, but were shot down before entering Israeli airspace.

The commander-in-chief of the Revolutionary Guards, who had warned Israel the previous day that it would experience an unexpected and unimaginable response to its recent operations, assured Israel that Iran was preparing to attack the country from Iraqi soil, which would be carried out by Tehran's proxy forces using drones and missiles provided by Iran.
