A death row inmate declares his faith in Jesus Christ before his execution

Ali Reza Asadi, a prisoner sentenced to death, declares his faith in Jesus Christ before his execution.
On the morning of Saturday, September 26, 2016, twelve prisoners were executed in Rajai Shahr Prison, Karaj, on drug-related charges.
"Alireza Madadpour, Bahman Rezaei, Arman Bahrami, Alireza Asadi, Mohsen Eslami, Hossein Bayrami, Mehdi Rostami, Amir Sorkhah, and Alireza Sorkhah" were the names of the nine executed.
These executions took place while Ahmad Shaheed, the UN Special Rapporteur on Iran, had called on Iranian authorities to immediately halt the executions of these 12 people.
John 3:14-18
And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up,
That whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved.
He who believes in him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
In the Word of God, we read that the Word of God became flesh and appeared on earth in the form and likeness of humans. Through His sinless obedience and servitude and His pure and holy life, He was able to take upon Himself the burden of mankind's sins, giving them the hope and ability to repent of all their sins once and for all, and to speak to God and their invisible Creator, without any earthly intermediary or without resorting to any known or unknown being, and only through the Son of God (the same Word of God who became flesh), and to enter into a two-way and loving relationship.
For a man who had no hope of being saved from the burden of his sins and no way to escape from his sinful nature and his tendency toward filth and impurity, the Way itself came to earth and stood before humanity. As Jesus Christ said: I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
There have been countless sinful humans throughout history who, lost and helpless in their sinful nature, and at the height of their helplessness, and even in the final moments of their lives, have reached out to this good and loving God, seeking the path to their salvation from Him, and have attained true salvation.
Examples of such people can be seen in abundance in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, because Christ said, "I came into the world for the sick, the needy, and sinners to save them, because the healthy and the righteous have no need of a physician or a savior."
One of these people who, in the final moments of his life and frustrated by his fruitless and sinful life, reached out to our Lord Jesus, was a thief who was being crucified with another thief and Jesus Christ, and was living the final moments of his life.
Even though he saw all the opportunities for repentance and life in this present world and earth burned and lost, he suddenly felt a call in his heart that this person who was being crucified and dying beside him, without any sin, was the same one whose coming had been promised in the Word of God. In the face of the eye, his heart was filled with love and devotion to God, and in a pleading tone he said to the Lord Jesus, who was dying beside him, "When you enter your kingdom and kingdom for judgment on the Day of Judgment, please remember me also and forgive my sins."
Jesus' response to this thief and robber who was about to be punished for his actions is noteworthy and worthy of reflection.
Luke 23:42-43
Then he said to Jesus, "Lord, remember me when you come into your kingdom."
Jesus said to him, "Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in Paradise."
Jesus Christ never told him that you have spent your entire life in debauchery, theft, and perhaps murder, gambling, adultery, etc., and now, because of one word and because you have stood by me, you ask me to consider you as a completely innocent person and bring you into my kingdom?
No. Jesus immediately gave him the answer he was eager to hear at that moment. Jesus Christ forgave him and, without any reproach or condemnation, told him that you will enter the kingdom and paradise at the same time as me. Like me.
What unparalleled and incomprehensible love and forgiveness. It is God who is able, with a single word confessed from the heart of a person and with all his being, to write and write the pen of forgiveness and the signature of complete forgiveness on all our unclean records, making us worthy to eat with him and, like him, to have eternal life.
There is only one condition: sincere repentance and asking for forgiveness from the Lord Jesus Christ.
May you and I today, at every point that seems hopeless and irreparable, trust in this God of love and place our hope in Him, and accept with a humble heart that our repentance and a sign from God are enough for us to enjoy and benefit from the fruits of Jesus' crucifixion and death, then resurrection from the dead, and his ascension into heaven. This door remains open as long as there is life in the soul and in the world.
May God grant all of you who seek divine mercy and forgiveness, blessings, peace, forgiveness, and eternal life, in the name of Jesus Christ the Lord.
Amen
