Arrest of father whose daughter was shot dead by police officers

The Kurdistan Human Rights Network website, referring to the incident in which police officers shot at a car on the Tabriz-Zanjan highway, killing a seven-year-old child, wrote that after the incident was reported and negative reactions on social media, the girl's father was arrested.
According to the report, the shooting incident occurred on January 19, and police officers placed the Peugeot 405 under surveillance "due to the lack of vehicle documents" and fired 15 shots during the pursuit, resulting in the death of a seven-year-old child named "Mezgin Palangi." Falak Palangi, the other daughter of the family, was also injured in the incident.
It was previously reported that at the time of the incident, the son of the family was the driver and had fled because he did not have a license, and the officers had also opened fire on the car.
After this incident, the police transferred the child's body to Tabriz and handed it over to the family on February 2nd to be buried in the village of Molla Hassan Maku. The girl's funeral was held on February 2nd, and "Kamal Palangi, the father of the murdered child, was arrested by security forces during the funeral."
The Kurdistan Human Rights Network website wrote that after the shooting incident, law enforcement officers "pressured and threatened" the family of the Kurdish citizen and asked them not to report the incident.
