Uncertainty among families of Arbaeen travelers

Suheila.Kh. FCNN News Agency: The Islamic Republic authorities have not yet announced the exact number of deaths and injuries from the explosion in Iraq on Thursday night, and this situation has led to uncertainty for the families of the passengers.
Especially since it was announced that the bodies were burned and unrecognizable due to the severity of the explosion.
On the first day after the incident, it was announced that the number of Iranians killed was more than 60. However, their names and the city they belonged to were not specified.
Sudabeh, a relative of one of the passengers, told FCNN: "My 64-year-old father went on this trip with a convoy, but we have no news about his fate. The authorities also claim to be unaware. Apparently, he and three other passengers were eating at a restaurant at the same gas station, and this is the only news we have received."
This compatriot believes that the expectation of such incidents stems from the lack of planning by the authorities of the Islamic Republic and believes that the blood of all those killed in this incident is on the shoulders of those who, by arousing the emotions of the people, send them to a country at war without having the ability to provide their security.
According to ISNA, the country's forensic medicine has now taken action to identify the bodies, and the bodies are to be identified through DNA sampling and tests. If they are identical to first-degree relatives, the bodies will be handed over to them. To date, 51 bodies have been handed over to the forensic medicine.
This compatriot predicts that with the current situation, many families of Arbaeen travelers will remain in limbo. He urges people to observe the conditions of the grieving families in the coming years and not let officials use their religious feelings as a tool for their political gains.
According to Souda, the fact that many Iranian families are busy with these mourning ceremonies for several months is a success for the Islamic Republic's officials, because it keeps people's minds occupied and they are oblivious to other news.
The simple and irresponsible handling of this incident by Iranian authorities is, in the opinion of this compatriot, the clear reason for his claim. Especially since no one has yet expressed regret or even offered condolences to the families of the victims.
The incident took place on Thursday night last week in the "Shumali" area of the city of "Hilla" located south of Baghdad and was reported as the deadliest terrorist operation in the past month.
