Benil Dariush, Iranian-American fighter

Benil Dariush is an Iranian-American professional mixed martial artist. He was born on May 6, 1989 in Urmia. Benil, who is 1.78 meters tall and weighs 71 kilograms, competes in the UFC lightweight division. Dariush's lineage goes back to the Assyrians of Iran.
He began learning Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2007, and after five years of practice and receiving blue, purple, and brown belts, he became the world champion in the discipline and also received a black belt in the discipline.
He made his official UFC debut in January 2014 with a victory over Jason Hai. As of February 2018, he has fought 19 times, winning 14 times, and is ranked third in the world lightweight rankings.
Daniel has won many tournaments, but in his most recent victory, he took a minute to speak to the people of Iran. He said in the interview: "I want to dedicate this victory to the people of Iran." Benil continued: "I know you are struggling, I know you are fighting for freedom; I know you have a tough fight ahead of you, but I want to say that we are praying for you and we love you."
He continued his speech by mentioning a very important point, Benil said: "Let me tell you something else, which is the most important thing. There is a true freedom that no one can take from you, and this freedom is when you find the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in Him. Never forget this, this is a very important issue."
