The impasse in the auto industry created national humiliation.

In his speech, Dr. Bahrami expressed national humiliation regarding the impasse in the automotive industry.

Dr. Ata Bahrami, an economic analyst, spoke on the "Economic Nine" program about the national humiliation of the automotive industry reaching a dead end.

In his speech, he said: "We have reached a dead end in the automotive industry. In other words, we have created national humiliation with the strange cars we produce. Especially for the new generation, this gap is more evident than ever. In neighboring countries such as Afghanistan, Iraq, and Armenia, there is everything. Even Yemen, which is the poorest Arab country and despite being involved in a war, does not have a currency problem, but there are advanced cars there. An Iranian who travels to these countries feels humiliated when he sees their automotive industry."

According to Dr. Bahrami, contrary to Mr. Hemmati's opinion that cars are unnecessary goods, cars are the most important movable goods in the life of every family. Cars produced in Iran are still being produced with the same molds and many error rates, and this is considered a crisis. In Iran, too, until a crisis arises and reaches the end of the crisis, the authorities do not think about solving it. Now the automotive industry has reached the end of the crisis.

The price of foreign cars with many options, even in some cases "self-driving", is cheaper than the price of Iranian cars. The automobile industry in Iran has created a national crisis and most of the inflation is due to the production of these cars.

According to Dr. Bahrami, if car imports were liberalized, car prices and expectations would fall, and as a result, inflation would also decrease. This crisis should be resolved at the macro level of the country, not at the medium level. According to Dr. Bahrami, the system has only preserved itself over the past several decades.
