Death sentence of a child criminal confirmed, while three prisoners are released from the gallows

The death sentence of a child criminal in Isfahan was upheld by the Supreme Court. Three prisoners in the cities of Rey, Qom, and Kazerun, who had previously been sentenced to death in separate cases on murder charges, were released from the gallows with the consent of their parents.
According to HRANA news agency, citing Rokna, the death sentence of a child criminal in Isfahan was confirmed by the Supreme Court.
According to this report, on November 5, 2018, after the body of a 16-year-old child was discovered near the village of Dar Afshan, Isfahan, a suspect was arrested in this connection.
The defendant, who was under the legal age at the time of the crime, lured 16-year-old Morteza Rezaei out of his house with a few text messages and attempted to murder him with 24 stab wounds in the deserts of Dar Afshan village.
The defendant was sentenced to death during the trial of this case, and the sentence was confirmed by the Supreme Court.
According to Maftoul's mother, the sentence will be carried out in early 1400.
A prisoner is released from execution in Rey
According to Mizan, the Chief Justice of Rey County announced the release of a prisoner from execution after 18 years.
Rasoul Jalali, the head of the Rey County Justice Department, stated: "A murder occurred in Rey in 2002, and after judicial proceedings, the defendant in the case was found guilty."
He noted: "Given the defendant's remorse, the branch investigating the case invited the deceased's parents, and after holding several meetings, a compromise was reached in the case, and the defendant was spared execution."
Pardon of a prisoner sentenced to death in Qom
According to Hamshahri, the Director General of Qom Province Prisons announced the release of a prisoner sentenced to death after 11 years.
The Director General of Qom Province Prisons said: "The family of a 22-year-old young man who was murdered in a fight with his neighbor eleven years ago consented to the release of the convicted person without receiving any cash as blood money."
Mortazavi added: "Since the beginning of this year, eleven prisoners have been released from the death penalty."
A prisoner is released from the gallows in Kazerun
According to Mizan, the head of the Fars Conflict Resolution Development Center announced the release of a death row inmate from the gallows in Kazerun.
The head of the Fars Conflict Resolution Development Center stated: “About 4 years ago, during a conflict and altercation in the city of Kazerun, a 55-year-old man was murdered with a cold weapon.”
Tavani added: "After the case was filed and the judicial process was completed, the defendant was ultimately sentenced to death. However, with the diligent efforts and follow-up of the members of the sixth branch of the Kazerun Dispute Resolution Council, the case was closed with the consent of the deceased's parents, and the defendant was saved from death row."
