Judicial pressure continues on families of November 1999 victims; Farzad Ansarifar's brother and father arrested

Following the release of news about the arrest of Amin Ansarifar, the father of Farzad Ansarifar, one of those killed in the November 2019 protests in Behbahan, news reports indicate the arrest of another member of this family.
Farzaneh Ansarifar, the sister of this victim of the November 2019 protests, announced on her Instagram the arrest of her other brother, Arman Ansarifar, by security forces.
Farzaneh Ansarifar wrote on her Instagram page on Sunday, March 2, 2020: "People of Iran, be our voice. For what crime were my father and brother Arman arrested?"
Without releasing further information about the arrest, Ms. Ansarifar reported the severity of the pressure on her family and called on the people of Iran to be the voice of her family.
Yesterday, after the news of Amin Ansarifar's arrest was published, a source close to Ansarifar's family told VOA that a summons was sent to Mr. Ansarifar about a week ago, but he did not appear in court and an arrest warrant was issued for him on Wednesday.
According to this informed source, Mr. Ansarifar was arrested on Saturday, February 20, while appearing in court and was charged with "testifying at the November 2019 International People's Court" and "interviewing Masih Alinejad."
This is while Mr. Ansarifar says that he has not interviewed Masih Alinejad yet.
According to available information, Mr. Ansarifar, who suffers from a heart condition, informed his family in a brief call that he had been transferred to Behbahan Prison.
Earlier on February 8, a source close to Farzad Ansarifar's family told VOA that, at the same time as the second round of the November 2019 People's Court was being held in London, judicial authorities, while pressuring the family, had filed three separate cases against Farzaneh Ansarifar.
On Wednesday, November 9, Amin Ansarifar appeared as a witness in the first round of the November 98 People's Court and said that not only has his son's killer not been identified, but authorities have also filed a case against his brother and daughter for suing for Farzad's murder.
He, who attended the court hearing virtually, explained to the judges and the prosecution that his son had been shot in the back and that the location of the bullet was identified as the roof of the Noor Inn in Behbahan, where security forces were present.
